Osteopathy

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopaths are highly trained Allied Health Professionals who are well known for their expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of the entire musculoskeletal system and its relationship with other systems in the body. Osteopaths provide a whole person approach to health, taking time to understand the history, circumstances and unique physiology of their patients to provide a treatment package that is tailored for the individual.

Osteopathic Treatment

Osteopathic treatment involves manual therapy – a range of gentle hands-on techniques that focus on releasing tension, stretching muscles and improving mobility – together with exercises and helpful advice designed to help you relieve or manage your pain, keep active and maintain the best of health. The gentlest of these techniques is craniosacral treatment which I use in combination with other treatments.

All osteopaths are registered with and regulated by the General Osteopathic Council, and I am also registered with the Institute of Osteopathy.
